What is the Fuji music in Islam?

Distinct from the other genres, fújì grew out of Yorùbá Muslim communities. Fuji and its women-inclusive relative, Islamic, are dance music genres characterised by their Arabic-influenced vocal style, Yorùbá praise poetry (oríkì), and driving percussion.

What instruments are used in the Fuji music?

The instrumentation is composed of a wide variety of percussion instruments, mainly talking drums such as the dundun, which accompany the lead singer. Sekere, maracas and agogô are also typically used.
